And we're off

We said our good byes to the kids and dad last night with an impromptu get together. There were a lot of laughs, stories and sound advise flying around. I'm always warmed by my little familys love and support. 

And today we leave Fort McMurray for our adventures abroad on a cold and grey day, a bone chilling -25 (- 36 with the wind chill) brrr.

 Before Leaving to Portugal though we are heading to Calgary for a quick visit with my brothers and their lovely wives, I'm  pretty excited for that. We don't get to see each often enough so any excuse is a good excuse! 

Unfortunately it won't warm up much between here and there.
